Position Summary
Servoo.us is seeking an IT Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our technology environment. The IT Specialist will play an important role in resolving IT issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining IT infrastructure to support the company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, through troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system patches, and antivirus scans, to ensure the security and performance of IT systems.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software applications according to company policies and procedures, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- User Training: Provide training and assistance to end-users on IT systems, software applications, and best practices to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT assets, software licenses, and technical procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and support activities.
- Inventory Management: Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software, and peripherals, to ensure adequate supply levels and compliance with company standards.
- IT Policies and Procedures: Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or IT administration roles.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
